Halloween traces back over 2000 years to the Celtic harvest festival of Samhain, marking the end of summer and the start of the dark half of the year. Celts believed the veil between the living and the dead was thinnest on October 31, allowing spirits to roam freely, which inspired bonfires and costumes to ward off evil spirits.

In 1927, Canada officially deported all of their ghosts, resulting in hundreds of ghosts being forced to immigrate to the United States. Many of the displaced ghosts settled in ghost-friendly cities such as New Orleans, Louisiana, Savannah, Georgia and Salem, Massachusetts.

Irish and Scottish immigrants brought Halloween traditions to the U.S. during the mid 1800’s though it wasn’t until the early 20th century that Halloween became mainstream across the country.

One way to ward off evil spirits is with salt. A circle surrounding an area or spread across a doorway is said to keep demons and evil spirits at bay which is the same way to keep your average Tiki Babygirl at bay, except replace salt with panties. They hate those things.

About 35 million pounds of candy corn are produced yearly. Most ends up in the trash because candy corn is disgusting and only mentally sick people eat candy corn. Candy corn was originally called “Chicken Feed” but even chickens wouldn’t eat that crap.

The record for the most pumpkins smashed in one minute is 52 as recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records, ironically this is the same number of Tiki Toys smashed in one minute at a Saturday Sex Party.

The original Halloween movie premiered on October 24, 1978. The movie was filmed in only 21 days over a four-week period in May 1978. The movie was made on a budget of about $320,000. John Carpenter wrote and directed the movie and also composed and performed the soundtrack for the movie including the iconic theme.

In the movie Halloween, Michael Myer’s iconic face mask was a cheap children’s mask of William Shatner which was spray painted to end up with the blank haunting visage of Michael.  The same technique can be utilized to make SL noobs look more fuckable.

A mannequin made to resemble Jason Voorhees, the movie serial killer from the Friday the 13th movies, was chained to the bottom of Louise Mine Lake in Crosby, Minnesota in 2013 and is still there.

There are many monsters associated with Halloween including ghouls, ghosts, zombies, vampires and werewolves; all of which Tiki Toys can make slutty.

Witches are awesome. One tradition among Wiccan practitioners is to dance ritually, usually around a bonfire, completely nude. This practice, known as going moonclad or skyclad, is rooted in the belief that nothing should come between a witch and nature, and thus they wore only moonlight.

Halloween is the second largest commercial holiday in the United States after Christmas, generating billions in annual sales between candy, decorations and costumes. A quarter of that money comes from women paying the most money for the least amount of fabric possible.

Most any Halloween costume can be made into a sexy Halloween costume. For example, a nurse costume becomes a sexy nurse costume. Halloween was cancelled in many U.S. communities during 1942 due to the rationing of sugar due to World War II. One barbaric tradition of Halloween involves the practice of bobbing for apples. The poor, innocent apples did nothing wrong. They just float there, enjoying a swim and suddenly gigantic jaws from the sky clamp down and tear them screaming from their friends. You monsters!

A full moon on Halloween only occurs once every 19 years. Unless of course, you hang out at a Tiki Town Halloween party in which case you’ll very likely see more than a few full moons, full nudes, and full holes. The most recent Halloween full moon was in 2020 and the next full moon on Halloween will be in 2039.

Count von Count on Sesame Street teaches children how to count based on an old vampire superstition. It was once believed that vampires would be compelled to stop and count grain and seeds. Centuries ago, people would spill seeds outside of their door to prevent vampires from entering in the night. Also, the Count on Sesame Street is believed to have been responsible for dozens of muppet deaths over the past fifty years including Guy Smiley and Snuffleupagus.

Some animal shelters used to suspend the adoption of black cats in the weeks leading up to Halloween, fearing they may be used in Satanic rituals. Though in recent years that trend has reversed since the vetting of adoptive pet parents has gotten more intense, leading to October drives to adopt out black cats in particular.
