  • In the early years of Tiki Town the beautiful and abundant waters around the sim were plagued by a pestilence of dolphins. Luckily, Bruce the Shark arrived at Tiki Town and put all the unruly dolphins in their place… their place being inside of Bruce’s stomach. The last two dolphins at Tiki Town are kept around to spread the warning to other dolphins to stay out of Tiki Town.

  • As of July 2025 Tiki Town has an official flag. The flag depicts King Kuno on a background of sand to water to sky. The flag was designed by Teresa and you can see the flag waving madly near the main resort.

  • Most people know that La Cuna is a part of Tiki Town although separate from Tiki Town. But there are also other areas of Tiki Town that you may not know about including an Art Gallery, the Sex Cave, a Planetarium, Bumper Zombies, Winterland, and the Forest at Camp Fukensukatiki.

  • In 2019 a script was completed for Tiki Town: The Musical but was canceled after the first day of rehearsal. It turns out that it’s really tricky to sing and dance on stage while also participating in an orgy.

  • Tiki Town is one of only 27,000 sims that remained open during the Covid pandemic in 2020. Tiki Town had zero reported cases of the virus despite very poor social distancing. Very, very poor social distancing. Basically none.

  • Tiki Town has never allowed any retail shops or vendors since the sim’s beginning and continues to have a policy against retail space anywhere on the sim. This also includes advertising or asking for money for stripping, escorting, or sex. This does NOT include showering the Tiki Town DJs with embarrassingly large tips.

  • As of the end of 2025, Tiki Town has shown about 227 movies! Most are shown at our Sunday Movie event every Sunday at 5pm SLT though on rare occasion’s movies have been shown at alternate days and times including a few rare double features. Only a rare few movies get shown at Tiki Town more than once with the most notable being The Rocky Horror Picture Show that gets shown every year right around Halloween.

  • On Friday, October 31st (Halloween) Tiki Town had its longest non-stop party ever! We had fourteen hours of Halloween music thanks to DJ Gillian, DJ Moira, DJ Anak, DJ Alessia, DJ Crissy, and DJ Aldy. The turnout for the party was really great with 20 to 30 people at the party for almost the entire fourteen hours. How the fuck we gonna top that?
