Hi there, it’s your favorite neighborhood Apple here and I want to take my best shot at answering this surprisingly complicated question – what does being a Tiki Toy mean to me? In order to find the answer I did what I often do, I sought out the advice of my sister Toys, posing the same question to them and collecting the responses, which honestly varied so widely it brought up even more questions, so lets dive in!
On the surface, the question of being a Tiki Toy seems like it would be a simple one. Surely there is a codified, clear definition of what a Tiki Toy is, right? Right? Not really, though there is a somewhat general understanding that few would argue with: a Tiki Toy is an ambassador for Tiki Town serving as both host for the many opportunities available and example of the kind of lifestyle we enjoy. Well, that was simple, one and done, article over, go crack a cold one or plug in the vibe. Alas the meat of the answer lies in all the grey spaces between where emotions and desires and motivations mix into a gooey paste of Tiki pudding, so lets dive a bit deeper.
The responses I got from my sister Toys told me everything I needed to know about why I had to tackle this question in the first place. They varied from analytical to emotional, from deeply invested to just starting out, and even so extreme as to include a beautifully creative poem on one end, to a very special Toy that wasn’t even convinced they should be one and didn’t know how to answer at all. I can say at this point however with 100% certainty that every Tiki Toy is deserving of the title and brings something unique and incredibly special to the community.

This sentiment was echoed more than once, with many feeling a strong connection to the people of Tiki Town and a strong desire to help them while simultaneously exploring their own needs and passions. Lets face it we at Tiki Town can be a horny bunch and we are an incredibly sex positive community. Many Toys are grateful to be in the position to express that and share it.

That shared experience, the special sauce that makes Tiki Town special was described a few different ways from “intoxicating magic” to a place “where lust and love and sorrow meet” an intangible but powerful feeling, the feeling of belonging to something greater than ourselves, the feeling of being home.

The feeling of being home and a desire to share that seemed to be a driving factor in quite a few of the Toys. Wanting to be a smiling face, a welcoming presence, the warm light that lets you know you can finally exhale, kick off your shoes and stay a while. That idea of acceptance was repeated several times, especially as we don’t shy away from “shared kinks,” ones that many may feel need to be kept secret or perhaps even feel are shameful. At Tiki Town you are accepted. Even if we don’t share it, we won’t judge you for it.

Now I think it’s important to touch on something that can be a bit of a misunderstanding, especially to newcomers to the Tiki way of life. While Tiki Town is incredibly sex positive and accepting, it isn’t all we are. Many enjoy the life without necessarily having lots and lots of sex, or only enjoy sex with dedicated partners or even… le gasp…. not at all. It’s not a prerequisite to being a Toy that sex with guests and residents is required. Full stop. That said, you will still find plenty off Toys that enjoy it… immensely… on a grand scale… so those of higher libido need not worry on that score. Just be cool and let it cum to you… err cum around…. cum on you. You now what I’m saying.

It means I am a member of an extraordinary sorority of beautiful women that care deeply for each other and their community. It means I have the freedom to explore and express my sexuality as I see fit. It means I am a welcoming embrace, a kind face, a moment of grace when the world seems too much.
